final year

i'm not ready for working life. yet. i still want to have fun.

being final year university students is apparently more difficult than in high school (of course, duh). it involves more responsible choice. oh actually not every final year student is in this dilemma.

i'm in between two choices : work, or graduate school.

've been applying to graduate school since early this year, but i haven't got any news, as expected since i applied for master, not phd. but anyway, since ntu is holding a career fair in two days, everyone was like urged to go and get a job. printed resumes etc. honestly, i feel like putting job searching as my plan B. i initially felt lazy to go to the career fair dressing up, but peer pressure won over me. and i was also thinking that i must work if i didn't get accepted by the universities. there's nothing to lose if i looked around and secure some jobs?

but was a little bit disappointed frm the response i get when i said my major is bioengineering (tried looking for other engineering job, nt only biomedical, but yeah, so hard for a bioengineer was it?)

anyway, tomorrow will be the second day of career fair. i plan to go again, because they have different companies from tuesday. was planning to dress down, as in only wearing casual shirt + jeans + shoes, but being different is difficult (again : peer pressure!) some of them said tht you will be less respected when u re not dressing up.

currently i just want to think that if the job were meant for me, and i put enough effort, i would get it at the right time. period.
