Japan's tsunami

Japan was hit by a 8.9SR earthquake on Friday, followed by 10 m tsunami that devastated their cities. I don't think I need to give further explanation as the news were widely spread and it was the headlines for these few days.

I saw some videos that depicted the movement of water. It was scary. The water moved very fast at around 800km/h, and it brought along every object on its way, houses, cars, ships, and even planes. And following the tsunami, nuclear plants in Fukushima exploded, causing the fear of radiation that would affect people's health.

Even though they are prepared for earthquake, many of their citizens said that this time was different. I just opened some pictures in the net, and saw how sad the condition is. It is worsen by the nuclear.

I believed Japanese can survive through the earthquake with the aids from many nations. But nuclear radiation can be passed down to the offspring and cause deformities. I remembered my topic for my highschool thesis was nuclear waste. Nuclear is actually a powerful electricity generator, with only little fusion or fision reaction, it can create energy. But the side effect from nuclear is too scary. even the waste from nuclear reactor can cause some diseases, with the exposure of U235 or their families. *Okay honestly I forgot what I wrote in my thesis*

What we can do is praying for them. And donating money to credible organization such as American Red Cross and Salvation Army. Donating money online is more effective than food or clothes. And bear in mine that human can only plan, we don't know what lies in the future.
