IA is over
My industrial attachment was over two weeks ago. i had fun there tho. I met many new ppl, I know how to really do research in an research institute. It's gonna be memorable.
So after IA, I and my coursemate went to Johor Baru. it's a city in malaysia that extremely near to singapore. but still, i got extra chops in my passport. Two things that i learnt on that day :
1. Dont ever take automated clearance in Singapore checkpoint or immigration if your companion(s) are not Singaporean/pr. this case is important when the immigration is crowded. I did use the automated clearance, and I ended up waiting alone outside, it was hot.
2. Dont go to JB on weekends, or if you wanna go, go in the morning/earlier. It was very crowded, started from Kranji Bus stop, Woodland checkpoint, and the bus. And there were no clear queu on Woodlands checkpoint when you want to depart to bus that will take you to JB.
Here are some pics
we had seafood in danga bay at night. after that we decided to go back, where we needed to cross the highway to get to the bus-way (ok, here we can stop the bus anywhere, sounds the same like jakarta?) and it was freakin scary since the cars were at highspeed (it's highway anyway). we did go back to the place we start crossing cos we couldn't find a way how to cross (we were in the middle of the road!!!) . haha finally we managed to cross the highway, and we waited for the bus for lik 30 minutes-ish.
honestly, i don't think i will go to JB soon. LOL
